Second hand Titleist irons

Iron sets are certainly vital when it comes to your golf game, making up a large percentage of your golf bag. It is therefore important to get the right set for you. Titleist is a respected name in golf club engineering, especially with their excellent range of irons. Titleist irons are crafted with performance in mind, delivering consistent distance, accuracy, and control.

Titleist iron sets buying guide

Before buying a set of Titleist irons, you will need to decide which type of irons sets you need. We would recommend any beginners opt for a cavity back iron set. For more advanced players, the world is your oyster with a huge selection of cavity back, muscle back, game improver & blade irons to choose from.

Cavity back:

As the name suggests, these irons will have a cavity in the back to redistribute the weight. Cavity back irons allow for more forgiveness as the hollow back moves the centre of gravity, meaning they’re great for achieving higher launch shots.

Blade irons:

Blade irons are crafted in such a way so the weight is evenly distributed throughout the club head, which in turn allows for more feel and control, with the ability to shape a shot more than a cavity back allows.

Muscle back:

Typically the middle ground of blades and cavity backs, muscle back irons offer the improved forgiveness of cavity backs whilst having the strong feel of a blade.

Flex:

You will also need to determine the shaft flex, and luckily you can filter to match your requirements, with ladies clubs providing most flexibility, Senior (or A-Flex) next with regular and stiff flex, increasing in rigidity as you go along. Once you’ve got your set of irons, it’s important to test them out and see if there are any gaps in your set and fill them to ensure you’re fully covered for any scenario while out on the course.
