Titleist GT1 Golf Fairway Wood Mens / Right Handed / Graphite

The Titleist GT1 Fairway focuses on a higher launching ball flight with aerodynamic speed. GT1 offers a shallower face profile, an ultra-lightweight construction with a lower centre of gravity for increased forgiveness and improved distance. New adjustable weights enable further optimisation of launch and spin to achieve effortless fairway performance.

The ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown on the GT fairways is made of the same new Proprietary Matrix Polymer found in GT drivers. The density of the Proprietary Matrix Polymer is about five times lighter than steel, giving Titleist engineers significant weight savings in comparison to prior generation fairway crowns, while maintaining Titleist’s classic sound and feel. The crown is also completely seamless, offering a player-preferred look at address without compromising any of the performance gains from GT’s multi-material construction. The GT1 has an ultra-lightweight configuration, the lightest within the GT range making it easier to launch and providing more distance for players with moderate swing speeds.

The discretionary mass gained from GT fairways’ Seamless Thermoform Crown allowed Titleist engineers to reposition the centre of gravity in each model to achieve optimal performance. The GT1 features the deepest centre of gravity of all the models resulting in fairway that dynamically playable from the fairway with increased stability and higher launch.

The clubface on GT fairways is specifically designed to improve performance on strikes low on the face. A new insert wraps around the bottom of the club to preserve ball speed, eliminate excessive spin and enhance sound and feel. Both GT2 and GT3 fairways feature refinements to their shaping and GT1 has the shallowest face profile. Titleist engineers flattened the sole curvature from heel to toe on both models, which gives the head the appearance of sitting lower. Impacts on the toe and heel side also hit higher on the face now, adding forgiveness.

The GT1 features the premium Fujikura Air Speeder Next Gen shaft as standard that is designed with carbon fibre content to deliver faster swing speeds and a higher launch. Its tip stiffness and torque has been optimised to offer stability and control, making it perfect for the GT1.
