PXG Black Ops Irons present a thicker top rail and larger face profile, paired with increased offset as is traditional in a game improvement iron. The Dual Cavity Design is engineered to remove mass from the center of the club and redistribute that weight to the perimeter – significantly boosting MOI. The Weight Savings Insert on the outer cavity removes mass from the center of the club allowing the CG to be placed lower and farther back for maximum forgiveness. The inner cavity is filled with PXG’s industry leading XCOR2 Technology. This lightweight polymer helps reduce the mass from the core of the clubhead to dramatically increase MOI and forgiveness on both heel-toe, and on high-low mishits.

XCOR2 is PXG’s revolutionary polymer core material, the result of years of research and development, first used in PXG’s flagship 0311 GEN6 Irons. Extremely lightweight, XCOR2 helps reduce the mass of the core whichenables more weight to be positioned low and to the perimeter of the backsideof the clubhead, dramatically increasing MOI. Combined with PXG’s variableultra-thin face technology, XCOR2 enhances the C.O.R. for extreme faced eflection and out-of-sight ball speed.
