| Ping G440 HL Golf Irons (Custom Fit) Higher Launching With Improved Consistency Ping’s G440 HL Irons are engineered with distance in mind and are best suited to the golfers who want game-improvement technology with the look of a players-style shape. The High Launch model is specifically made for players with slower swing speeds. Engineered with a lower overall system weight and made with lighter backweights, ultra-light shafts and lighter grips to promote more clubhead speed and ball velocity for high launching, longer carrying shots. A key contributor to the added distance is the PurFlex cavity badge, redesigned with a 4-piece mould that is more flexible than before. This expands and contracts to support the new thinner face while maintaining the increased ball speed and enhancing the sound and feel. The 4,5 and 6 irons are now 1/8″ longer to generate more ball speed and improve launch, creating more consistent gapping within the set. A shallower face height, shorter blade length and thin top line offers a players-inspired at address that many seek. The high quality, premium performance appearance is complete with a chrome finish on the back of the head and inside the cavity badge. Fitted as standard with the Ping Alta Quick shafts and the Lamkin UTx Lite grips. |
