Ping G2 HL. The Ping G2 iron Series represents the most forgiving iron Ping has ever designed.
The G2 HL has normal G2 irons from 6 through to Sand Wedge but the 3, 4 and 5 irons are designed to give a higher launch to make them easier to use.
As an alternative to traditional long irons and fairway woods, the G2 HL will provide you with confidence to play high-launching, soft-landing shots from long distances.
A wider sole helps position the centre of gravity away from the face and an extreme undercut cavity allows for extreme perimeter weighting, for higher, more forgiving shots.
Designed for all golfers, this club was immediately put into play by several of the Ping Tour Staff players since it is so easy to hit.
The sole design and high-launch characteristics make it a great option for long shots.
Ping G2s were the biggest selling iron in the US in 2004. The 3, 4 & 5irons are HL (High Lauch) designs, the rest of the irons from 6 to Sand Wedge are the standard G2.
