The Callaway X Hot irons are designed for phenomenal distance, forgiveness, and feel. These oversize, cavity-back irons are a great choice for middle and high handicappers and can offer better distance, even on mis-hit shots. The cavity allows the centre of gravity to be moved lower for higher launches. That higher launch angle, paired with faster ball speeds from the improved face design, results in solid gains in carry distance.
The Tech Story
The Speed Frame Face Technology featured in the Callaway X Hot irons place additional mass behind the clubface provides more ball speed on shots struck all across the face, including on off-centre shots. An undercut cavity eliminates weight where it isn’t needed, lowering the centre of gravity and making the clubface hotter. These irons also feature the Dual Material Medallion. This badge in the cavity optimises sound makes for a more responsive feel.
