| Ping G440 Golf Irons Improved Consistency With Increased Ball Speed Ping’s G440 Irons are engineered with distance in mind and are best suited to the golfers who want game-improvement technology with the look of a players-style shape. Combining a lower centre of gravity system with a new 9% thinner face, these irons produce increased ball speeds, improved forgiveness and longer-carrying shots with enough stopping power to hold the greens. A key contributor to the added distance is the PurFlex cavity badge, redesigned with a 4-piece mould that is more flexible than before. This expands and contracts to support the new thinner face while maintaining the increased ball speed and enhancing the sound and feel. The 4,5 and 6 irons are now 1/8″ longer to generate more ball speed and improve launch, creating more consistent gapping within the set. A shallower face height, shorter blade length and thin top line offers a players-inspired at address that many seek. The high quality, premium performance appearance is complete with a chrome finish on the back of the head and inside the cavity badge. Fitted as standard with the AWT 3.0 shafts and the Tour Velvet 360 grips. |
