The TaylorMade r540 Driver features the same inverted cone technology that is in its sister model r510, with a slightly bigger 350cc head for added forgiveness. The lower CG, along with the shallower face on this club head gives it a medium launch angle with a bit more spin for additional carry
Inverted Cone Technology (ICT)The Inverted Cone Technology (ITC) increases the sweet spot on the face, making this driver much more forgiving on mishits.
A r500 sweet-spot is approximately the size of a quarter – two times larger than the 300 series. Motion Analysis Shaft System (M.A.S.)The Motion Analysis Shaft System works together with the Tuned Weight Cartridge (TWC) to coordinate and balance the shaft with the clubhead, maximizing performance from both parts. Together, they work to deliver a players optimum clubhead speed, launch angle, and ball speed to maximize distance and accuracy.
